When to use national annexes?

For certain product families, for which an EAD has been prepared, a national annex may also exist. Typically, the national annex has been prepared if the Danish Building Regulation defines special performance requirements for the product family in question.

The national annex describes which properties must be stated in an ETA. It also specifies which level the individual properties should have in order to meet the Danish level of requirements. Your product must meet the requirements of the national annex if the ETA for the product was issued on the basis of an ETA Guideline.

In collaboration with the Danish Energy Agency, ETA-Danmark selects the ETA Guidelines  for which it is relevant to prepare national annexes. The national annexes have been drawn up by ETA-Danmark and endorsed by the Danish Energy Agency.
